What is Washmen™?

Washmen™ is a mobile-based laundry and dry cleaning service in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, serving 50,000+ customers.

How does Washmen™ work?

Use the app to enter your address and set pickup and dropoff times that suit you best. Our driver will bring you our color-coded bags for you to fill. Each type of bag has a different type of service such as Bed & Bath, Wash & Fold, Clean & Press, Shoe & Bag Care, and Press Only. We will pickup and dropoff your items based on your order requirements.

What services does Washmen™ provide?

Dry cleaning, hand washing, bulk washing, air drying, steam pressing, ironing, tumble drying, stain removal, shoe cleaning, bag cleaning, and more.

What do I prepare for my first order?

Simply prepare your clothes, and our driver will deliver a Washmen™ Starter Kit, complete with all the color-coded bags for each service. Choose your services in the app, and our driver will assist you in setting up your bags for the first time.

What's the turnaround time?

Our regular turn around is 48 hours. You can select next day delivery for a 50% surcharge on the fees.

Do I have to be at home for pickup and delivery?

Not necessarily. You can leave your bag of laundry outside your home by the door. You can also leave your items with your doorman. Most of our customers are comfortable with laundry left at their doorstep, UAE is very safe, so you wouldn’t need to worry as we never had theft issues.

Do I need to sort my clothes by color and type?

Not at all! Our laundry experts will separate the clothes according to color, material and cleaning method.

Can I schedule my pickup and delivery at different  locations ?

Your pickup and dropoff location has to be the same.

Can I reschedule a collection or delivery

Yes, you can simply cancel an order and place a new one at your desired time, provided that your first order has not been picked up yet.

I missed a scheduled collection or delivery, what do I do?

You will receive a "Pickup failed" notification from our app which will allow you to schedule a new pickup.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order before it has been picked up.

Can I add extra items to my order when you collect?

When placing an order, you are not required to add the amount of laundry you want to send. All you have to do is order a pickup through the app, and leave as many bags of laundry as you want for cleaning.

How can I sign up to the app?

Download the app and sign up via WhatsApp, phone number, Apple, or Telegram.

Who chooses the cleaning method?

Our laundry experts will be choosing one of our 50+ cleaning programs, which are suitable for different types of fabrics. Our textile cleaning experts are trained to carefully read each item’s care instructions and decide on the cleaning program. But if you want to tell us about an expensive garment or a special item, you can add your special requests on the app and the team will take your remark into account.

Can you remove stains?

Our dry cleaning experts use state-of-the-art equipment and advanced stain-removal solutions to ensure your garments receive the highest level of care. Although some stains may be permanent, we always strive for the best possible outcome. Please indicate any stains in the app or inform our driver when handing over your items.

Can you hang/air-dry items?

Absolutely. We never use high-temperature dryers. Instead, every garment goes through Washmen’s unique Air Dry process, a gentle approach that preserves fabric quality and extends lifespan by up to 30–50% compared to machine drying.

Are there any materials you can't process?

We cannot process fur, curtains and any articles containing hazardous materials or that have been soiled in blood.
Our team will inform you as soon as possible of any item that cannot be cleaned and we will return it hung or folded, but uncleaned. If Washmen™ receives and can process any of these items, they will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis and standard turnaround times do not apply.

Who cleans my clothes?

Everything is cleaned and processed in our own state-of-the-art facility by Washmen™ garment care experts; we do not outsource.

Do you clean wedding dresses?

No, currently our services do not extend to wedding dresses.

Do you wash my clothes together with other people's clothes?

It depends on the type of service. When sending us your items in the Wash & Fold bag, your clothes will not be mixed with anyone else's. When sending us items using Clean & Press, your items will be matched with others that require the same cleaning program. Rest assured, our steam pressing kills 99.99% of all germs and viruses.

I am allergic to a certain type of detergent, what are my options?

We only use eco-friendly detergents that are biodegradable and dermatologically tested. Our detergents are also tested and proven to be safe for babies.

Can I provide my own detergent?

No, sorry! We only use eco-friendly detergents that are dermatologically tested to be excellent and safe for the skin.

How do I know if you can clean a specific type of clothing?

If our team identifies certain materials that we cannot process, we will send you a notification and return the item to you unprocessed.

Are there any fabrics that you don't clean?

We currently don't process leather, or any pet items (such as beds and dog clothes).

What temperature do you wash the clothes at?

Our laundry experts know the best cleaning programs for all types of garments and materials, including which items require cold water washing and which ones require specialized programs.

How long is the turnaround time for Basic Cleaning?

Currently four days.

How much does Clean & Press cost?

Pricing is per item, starting from AED 18 for shirts and up to AED 95+ for delicate pieces such as evening dresses. See the full list above for details.

How is drying handled?

Every item is gently air dried without the use of heat, then steam-pressed to perfection for a crisp, refined finish.

What is OptiClean?

Powered by Miele technology, this system gently replicates the motion of hand-washing in cold water to deliver an effective, fabric-safe clean.

Can you remove stains?

Yes. Our specialists use advanced stain-removal techniques and top-quality products for the best possible results.

Why AirDry instead of tumble dry?

Air drying gently protects your garments, maintaining their shape, color, and quality without the risk of shrinkage or fabric stress.

What about special instructions?

You can upload photos, request creasing or custom folding, and approve stain treatments directly through the app.

What’s the delivery time?

We’ll have your order ready in 48 hours, or you can opt for next-day delivery for a small 50% service surcharge.

What kind of items can I put in the Wash & Fold bag?

You can include everyday clothing, activewear, home linens, and towels in your Wash & Fold bag. As long as the item is washable at 40°C, it’s good to go.

Can I leave the bag outside if I’m not home?

Yes. We offer easy doorstep pickup and delivery. You can leave your bags with security, reception, or outside your home.

How big is the bag?

The bag holds up to 12 kg of laundry, which is about two full washing machine loads.

Is the laundry washed with other people’s clothes?

Absolutely not. Every customer’s laundry is washed individually, guaranteeing complete hygiene and gentle care for your garments.

Do you offer stain removal in this service?

Stain removal isn’t part of the Wash & Fold service. For items that need special care or stain treatment, choose Clean & Press or Bed & Bath instead.

Is this available in Abu Dhabi too?

Absolutely. We serve both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the same pricing and quality.

What’s the delivery time?

What is “Press Only”?

A stand-alone steam-pressing service with no washing included, perfect for pre-washed items that need a crisp, professional finish.

Can I request folding or hanging?

Yes. Add your folding or hanging preferences in the app when scheduling your order.

How do I request it?

Use any Washmen bag and attach the “Press Only” sticker included in your first order; we’ll identify it and process it accordingly.

What’s the delivery time?

We’ll have your order ready in 48 hours, or you can opt for next-day delivery for a small 50% service surcharge.

What items are eligible?

Any clean, dry garment or fabric item, including shirts, trousers, outerwear, linens, and more.

Is pricing listed upfront?

Yes. Pricing is fully transparent. You’ll see per-item prices before booking, with all charges including VAT.

Why steam instead of hot plates?

Steam protects your fabric’s texture and color integrity, preventing shine or damage while gently sanitizing each garment.

How much does Bed & Bath cost?

The Bed & Bath service costs AED 85 per bag for up to 15 items, with extra linens at AED 8 each.

Why AirDry?

Air Dry eliminates the use of harsh dryers, helping preserve your fabric’s texture, softness, and longevity.

What items can I include?

You can include bedsheets, duvet sets, towels, bathrobes, table linens, and more, up to 15 pieces per bag.

What is OptiClean?

How do you clean the shoes? Do you use washing machines?

Absolutely not. We use specialized wet and dry methods; no shoes go into a washing machine.

Do you provide Shoe Repairs?

Subject to assessment. Our services include full sole replacement, heel repairs, sole protection, elastic strap and zipper replacements, insole and inner lining repairs, detailed stitching and gluing work, shoe and boot stretching, and professional colour touch-ups.

What is Light Restoration?

Light Restoration includes Basic Cleaning, Minor Glue Work, Light Stitching, Light Color Restoration and Weather Protection.

What is Heavy Restoration?

Subject to assessment. For shoes that are at the end of their first life, Washmen™ offers Heavy Restoration which includes Major Color Restoration, Glue Work, Stitching, Icing and Weather Protection.

What’s included in the basic ShoeCare package?

Cleaning, polishing, leather conditioning, odor removal, sanitization, and shoelace cleaning or replacement if needed.

How does restoration work?

After pickup, our experts evaluate the condition. If additional restoration such as color correction or detailing is needed, we’ll reach out for your approval before continuing.

How much does ShoeCare cost?

Pricing starts from AED 45 per pair for kids’ shoes, sneakers, or formal styles, while adult designer sneakers start at AED 95.

Can you handle luxury or suede shoes?

Yes. We handle designer and delicate materials, including suede, using specialized cleaning and restoration techniques tailored to each fabric.

What’s the delivery time?

The standard delivery time for shoes is 4 days. Urgent upgrades may be available in the app after you select your order.

What if my shoes are damaged in the process?

In the unlikely event of damage, we track every item and offer reimbursement of up to 20x the cleaning cost. Repair options are also available when applicable.

Can you restore yellowed soles?

Yes. Our Sole Icing service (+AED 35) restores yellowed soles to their original bright, clean appearance using a gentle peroxide and UV treatment.

Can you do icing for all types of shoes?

Not always. We assess the sole and shoe first and seek your approval before icing.

Do I need to clean the laces separately?

No. Shoelace cleaning or replacement is included in the basic package. We’ll clean or replace them as needed.

Do you sanitize shoes?

Absolutely. Each pair is sanitized with ozone and hot steam, effectively removing bacteria and odors for a fresh, hygienic finish.

Is ShoeCare available across all areas?

We offer seamless pickup and delivery across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, typically arriving within 30 minutes.

What items are eligible for BagCare™?

We clean and restore handbags, belts, wallets, backpacks, suitcases, briefcases, and even guitar cases. If you’re unsure, upload photos in the app for confirmation.

What if my bag needs extra work?

If your bag requires additional work, we’ll send photos and a final quote for your approval before proceeding.

How much does it cost?

Pricing starts from AED 100, and you’ll receive a final quote in the app once your item has been inspected.

Are there items you can’t clean?

We don’t clean exotic skins (such as python) or bags in fragile or unsafe condition. If you’re unsure, upload photos in the app for assessment.

What services are included?

Cleaning, repairs (handles, zips, edging, stitching), color restoration, leather conditioning, and sanitization.

What about damaged zippers or handles?

All repair services include zip replacement, handle reattachment, and edging.

How long does it take?

Your order is collected within 30 minutes and delivered back within 48 hours.

How do you sanitize bags?

We use professional-grade sanitization techniques to remove odors and bacteria from bag interiors.

Do you restore luxury brands?

Absolutely. Our skilled artisans specialize in restoring luxury handbags from leading designer labels.

What’s your coverage area?

We offer seamless pickup and delivery across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, typically arriving within 30 minutes.

Is there a minimum charge?

We have a minimum charge of AED 75.

What happens to my credit card info?

Washmen's servers do not store your credit card details. Payments are processed using Checkout. All information is encrypted using SSL as per the industry standard.

How will I know how much my bill is?

An itemized receipt will sent to your e-mail once your items have been sorted at our facility.
If you disagree with something, please email us and we'll take care of it.

How do I pay?

When placing an order you can request to either be charged through credit card or Apple Pay. Once your items has been sorted at our facility, your card will be billed and an itemized receipt will be sent to the email we have on file for you.

What if an item goes missing?

We will need 5-7 days to internally investigate how this happened, and if we are unable to identify where the item went missing we will reimburse you as per our T&C's.

What if my item is damaged?

We will need 5-7 days to internally investigate how the item got damaged. For most damages we have rectification methods but in case we are unable to rectify the issue and we are at fault, then we will reimburse you as per our T&C's.

When are you liable for damage?

We are liable for damages when the damage happens due to the fault of Washmen™, whether a human error or a process error. The amount can be transferred to your bank account or added to your Washmen™ account as credit.

How will I be compensated if my item is damaged?

Washmen™ is liable up to 20x the cost of cleaning for any damages or missing items. This is double the standard set by the DED (Dubai Economic Department).

What happens if I'm not happy with the cleaning result?

If you are not happy with the cleaning result for whatever reason, please reach out to our customer care team who will arrange to have your items picked up and recleaned at no additional charge.

Can I drop off laundry at both stores?

Yes. You can drop off your items at Meadows Souk or Downtown South Ridge anytime during store operating hours.

How long does laundry take?

Wash & Fold orders are typically ready within 24–48 hours. Clean & Press may take up to 3 days depending on the items.

Do you provide the laundry bags?

Yes. We’ll give you your blue, green, and pink Washmen bags with your first order.

Is the app still needed?

The app remains the easiest way to schedule pickup, track orders, and view your laundry status in real time.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available at both store locations.
